Winners of Photo Contest

This past January we won the Philadelphia Magazine photo contest!!! We won first place in the candid category and in the detail category and were also nominated in the portrait category.
Mother & Daughter hugging is an image from Anna & Kerry’s Wedding. The excitement that Anna’s mom felt filled the room!!! Just Feel The Love!
The image of the ring is from the wedding of Jenny and Bill. While photographing details in Jenny’s room we noticed a large novel by Shakespeare with the work of Romeo & Juliet enclosed! We found out from her sister that Jenny had preformed in theater as a child! The little details make the neatest stories!
An Intimate Discussion

Please join us this Friday for an evening of romance and champagne! My Studio is an open house this Friday evening for First Fridays in Wayne! We will be having a candid discussion about what makes a portrait intimate and how to take intimate portraits of your family. The Antique Store will also be hosting a discussion on romantic art and a fabulous spread of aphrodisiac food prepared by Justine Cuny. This is going to be a great night here in Wayne!
The Studio and Antique Store will be open from 5pm to 9pm.

Voted “Best Photographer” in Main Line Times Newspaper

2008 Main Line Times Readers Choice awards
I wanted to thank everyone for voting us the “Best Photographer” in the Main Line Times. Even though many of our weddings are destinations, we still do quite a few in Philadelphia and on the Main Line. It’s nice to see us win this award in the town where our studio is. Thank you, to all of the Main Line Times Newspaper readers, for voting us the best.
Voted Top Pix in Philadelphia Wedding
We just won two categories in the Philadelphia Wedding Top Pix Contest! The two Categories were, Photographers Choice & Artistic. The “Artistic” image was taken this past summer in Nevis of Tricia and Dean who reside in England. The “Photographers Choice” is of Marybeth & Marty in Tulum Mexico.
Philadelphia Wedding Magizine
Check out this great spread in Philadelphia Wedding Magazine. This is the wedding images from Jenn & Ryan’s wedding last fall at Historic Waynesboro. The article was wonderful & it is always wonderful to see one of my couples on a four page spread!!!
Main Line Today Magazine
Main Line Today Magazine contacted me for some wedding images for their “Best Of Issue”. The Wedding of Krissy Brandolini and Kyle Edginton was published as a two page spread. Krissy and Kyle deserved to be in the Magazine’s. You would have thought it was a celebrity wedding!

Cypress Album Winner
I am excited to announce that I just won the Cypress Album Photo Contest. Maybe now I will get around to designing my own wedding album…
Baby, you’re a star!
I just opened the Suburban Newspaper on Friday and on their Spot Light Section was Sarah DiCicco Photography. It was a full page, front section article on the Wedding Movie Premiere we did on June 1st with Erin & Thomas’s wedding images. I love the exposure we are getting for the premiere! Dave Williams Films did an amazing job!

YOU WERE MADE FOR THE MOVIES!
Wedding Photographer Sarah DiCicco Brings Your Big Day to the Big Screen
The most memorable day of any girl’s life is about to become positively unforgettable. For the first time ever, wedding photographer Sarah DiCicco (www.sarahdicicco.com) makes it possible for newlyweds, along with their family and friends, to relive the love, laughter and emotion of their wedding day in the grandest of fashion offering an exclusive photo presentation of their special day on the movie theater big screen. The debut of the wedding photo film will take place at 11 AM on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the Anthony Wayne Cinema in Wayne, PA.
With the help of Dvideography (www.dvideography.com), DiCicco compiles the wedding day photos, while Dvideography does its magic by conducting interviews with the bride and groom and family and friends to seamlessly accompany the images allowing clients to relive the wedding day as if it were happening all over again. The bride and groom take home their wedding photographs after the movie premiere allowing them to experience their wedding day again and again and to pass on their special moments to generations to come. The photo film premiere is exclusively available to DiCicco clients.
Often, wedding photographers present your proofs in a small thumbnail proof book, on CD or with watermarks over your images which are seldom retouched. With Sarah DiCicco, your wedding experience is vastly different with proofs that are final images consisting of up-to 900 to 1200 4 x 6 custom retouched prints displayed in three leather albums. After all of the planning and time that you put into your wedding, the images are what you have to remember your special day.
The photo film premiere is an extraordinary experience for any couple, but it’s an ideal answer for couples whose friends and family weren’t able to attend their destination wedding. The premiere will allow them to experience the couple’s wedding day as if they were guests at the actual wedding.
“I am thrilled to be the first wedding photographer to offer this unprecedented new way to see your wedding day photos,” said wedding photographer, Sarah DiCicco. “This is so much more than simply pictures put to music. This is truly a production worthy of the big screen.”
The first couple to experience the star treatment is Erin Elizabeth Conroy of Newtown, PA and Thomas John Welling Jr. of Bronxville, N.Y who were married February 2, 2008 at St. Vincent Ferrer in New York City, followed by a reception at Manhattan’s Capitale. On June 1, the couple will be greeted by their names displayed on the marquee at the Anthony Wayne Cinema and poster images of the couple inside the theater lobby. Friends and family will be on hand to feel all the emotion of the newlywed’s wedding day all over again.
